Jessyca Cooney Bio

Thanks for visiting my district page. I am pleased to have this opportunity to communicate with my students, their parents, and the community.

 

I am a part of the Language Arts Department at Mt. Pleasant Community High School. I teach English I and AP English Language and Composition. I also serve as a mentor to new teachers in the district.

 

After graduating from The University of Iowa, I spent the first two years of my career teaching English in Quincy, Illinois. Since 2003, I have been teaching at MPCHS. In 2006, I received my Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Viterbo University.
