Biography
Hello! My name is Scott Stribe, and the 2019-2020 school year will be my 7th year teaching here in Mount Pleasant.
I graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in History and Political Science, and I have endorsements to teach American History, World History and Government. Currently, my teaching assignments include American History, and MP CELL (Citizenship, Employability, Leadership, and Life Skills), and have also taught Government in the past. In addition to teaching, I coach football (varsity and junior varsity assistant) and girls soccer (head coach).
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling the United States, hiking and exploring, reading (mostly non-fiction), and spending time with family and friends. I am also a member of the Iowa Army National Guard (11 years). My current duty assignment is in Sioux City, Iowa where I serve as the Troop Commander of HHT, 1-113 CAV.
