Denise Liechty Bio

Bienvenidos to my students, their parents/guardians, and to the community!
I am a Spanish teacher at Mt. Pleasant Community High School. I enjoy my students and teaching Spanish.
I graduated from Northeast Missouri State University/Truman State University in 1988. I taught in Fairfield for seven years from 1992-2000. I have been teaching at MPCHS since 2000.
I was a Rotary Foreign Exchange Student in Mexico for a year during high school. I also spent two months in Costa Rica (including Panama) living with a host family while taking college courses there.
I really like traveling with students, and have taken trips with students to Mexico, Costa Rica, Italy, France, Monaco and Spain. What fun experiences!
I have four children and love spending time with them. My hobbies are traveling, reading, playing the violin and going for walks.
