Mike Peterson Bio

Hi and welcome to my district page. My name is Mike Peterson and I am a science teacher at Mt. Pleasant Community High School. I teach primarily 9th and 10th grade Biology where we have both an upper level Biology A class and lower level Biology B class. The classes cover the same material with the main differences being in the pace and depth of instruction.

 

I graduated from Coe College and have been teaching at Mt. Pleasant since the fall of 1992. In the spring of the year I also coach the 8th grade boys track team and have, in the past, coached the Middle School boys basketball teams.

 

I love the outdoors where my hobbies include hunting, fishing, and 4-wheeling with my family. I am also an active musician and avid weight lifter.
